Data used by Clocker

Clocker processes your name, email address, company workspace, role, hourly rate, project assignments, time entries and work notes. Connected workspaces also process supplier information, bills, payments, expense details and receipt files that users submit. These records support time tracking, expense management, billing and company administration.

If you allow location access, Clocker uses your device location to suggest a project and can attach the clock-in location to a time entry. You can decline location permission and choose a project manually. Clocker does not continuously track your background location.

Passwords and PINs are transformed on your device into authentication proofs before transmission. Clocker stores authentication records and, if you register a passkey, its public key. Biometric checks are handled by your device; Clocker does not receive your fingerprint or facial biometric data.

Storage and recipients

Company work records are stored in the company's connected Zoho Books organization. Authorized company administrators and managers can access records according to their permissions. Zoho also processes integration credentials, receipts and account-related email. Cloudflare hosts Clocker and stores workspace configuration, authentication and operational records. Network requests include technical information such as IP addresses, and operational logs may record request and error information.

Your browser stores a session, cached app files and work data locally to support sign-in and offline use. Unsynced work stays on the device until it can be submitted. Clearing browser storage removes local copies and can remove unsynced work.

Clocker uses these providers to operate the service. It does not contain advertising or sell personal data. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Workspace access is controlled by authentication and role permissions.

Retention and deletion

Company work and accounting records remain in the company's Zoho Books organization until removed under that company's retention practices. Removing a Clocker workspace does not automatically delete its Zoho Books records. Workspace and operational records may remain while needed to operate and secure the service; there is no general automatic deletion period for all records.

You can request deletion of your Clocker account and associated data. We verify the request and coordinate with the company that controls your work records. Records required for accounting, legal obligations, security or resolving disputes may need to be retained; the response to your request will identify any applicable exception. Signing out or uninstalling the app is not a server-side deletion request.

Review demo

The clearly labelled demo uses fictional records and has no Zoho connection. Each sign-in starts a new isolated session. Demo sessions expire after seven days; expired server records are removed during subsequent demo logins. Do not enter personal or confidential information into the public demo.

Your choices

Contact your workspace administrator or info@turn-byte.com to request access, correction or deletion, or ask about retention. You can revoke location permission in your device or browser settings and remove registered passkeys through account settings. Clocker is a workplace tool and is not directed at children.
